The bar chart below shows the percentage growth in average property prices in three different countries between 2007 and 2010.

The bar chart illustrates the proportion surge in real estate payments in Algeria, China and Argentina within three years from 2007 to 2010.

Overall, there was an upward trend in China, whereas a reverse pattern could be seen in the figure for Algeria over the surveyed period. In 2009, Argentina saw the rate in holdings costs hit the lowest point.

In 2007, money invested in land by people in Algeria initiated at around 6.2%, after which it witnessed a decline to approximately 3,1 % in 2009, before ending the period at exactly 3%. Opposite changes can be seen in the figure for China, soaring from 2% to roughly 6.3 % during the same time frame.

A striking feature could be seen in the data for Argentina which increased by nearly 2% at the beginning of period shown, then lost momentum before plummeting its rock bottom at about 1.1% in 2009 and rebounding to 2.3% in next year.
