The bar chart provides information about the percentage of visitors aged from under 15 to over 75 in the USA in two different years 1995 and 2005.
At the onset, it is clear that the age group between45-64 was the highest proportion of visitors in both the decade, while the lowest rate of visitors were aged between15-24 in the two decade.
Now, turning into the details, the rate of patients aged 45 plus , which accounts for 22.9% in 1995, was considerable lower than the proportion of visitors in the same age group, which makes up 29.4% in 2005.The significant decline in visiting doctor’s chamber was seen in the age group from under 15 to 24 yrs .While in 1995, the percentage of underage was 18.9% , which was slightly dropped by 2.2% in 2005, the difference in percentage of adults’ visiting was 1.5 from 1995 to2005.Although the portion of visitors aged over 65 was 13% in 1995, fell to 12.4% in 2005, the percentage of visitors aged 75 over gradually increased from 11.1% to 13.3% over the given period.
Finally, younger people are less frequent visitors during the period over years. In contrast, the percentage of patients aged 75 and over was increased slightly.
