First, China has produced 5398 billion kWh electricity in 2014, and has consumed 5322 billion kWh. The second rank country, the US, showed a record of 4099 billion kWh for the production, and 3866 billion kWh for the use in 2014. China and the United States were substantially distant from other countries since the US produces 4 times and consumes 3 times the third country, which is Russia.
Next, for all the listed countries, production exceeds the consumption, except for Germany which produced 526.6 billion kWh electricity in 2014, but consumed 582.5 billion kWh electricity, thereby ranking 6 in consumption and 9 in production.
Finally, Korea Republic with 485.1 billion kWh production and 449.1 billion kWh consumption ranked 10 in this list.
