To be more specific, China occupied the first position concerning both the amounts of electricity produced and consumed at 5398 billion kwh for the former and 5322 billion kwh for the latter. Similar patterns were observed in the United States and Russia, with the amount of the electricity generated in the former country being 4099 billion kwh and that in the latter country 1057 billion kwh. Japan, India, Canada, France , Brazil and the Republic of Korea came next in order of diminishing amounts of electricity produced and utilized.
In contrast, the amount of electricity utilized in German was greater at 528.5 billion kwh, as opposed to 526.6 billion kwh of the generated amount.
