The statistical bar graph illustrates information about telephone calls which were done by three different types in UK between 1995 and 2000. Data is caliberated into minutes (billions).
The main striking feature is that mainly citizens did local-fixed line calls while, less calls did by mobiles (all calls). The upward trend observed throughout the period in national or international and mobile calls whereas, local calls declined in after years.
It can be clearly seen that the largest accountable share of calling was done with local lines (70 minutes)(billion) in 1995 after, it experience noticeable upsurge till 1999 and touch the peak point with 90 minutes (billion). From 2000 to 2002 local calls had downward slope interestingly, reached at its initial point.
Moving further, Britishers did call by natinal and international lines in 1995, 1996 and 1997 with 37, 40 and 44 minutes (billion) respectively however, 2,5 and 7 minutes (billion) oderly did by mobiles. In 1999, calls by former was five times more then latter. The difference of almost half observed in both in the years of 2000 and 2001. The highest ponit touch by both categories in 2002 natinal and international with 63 minutes (billion) and mobiles with 45 minutes (billion).
