To begin with, there was a dramatic upsurge in the number of females who ate vegetables and fruits in which it, initially, stood at well beneath 1 in 4 and peaked approximately at a third in 2006. However, it plummeted considerably, plunging to three-tenths by the end of period shown.
In contrast, the percentage of males consumption remained stable for the first three years.
