The graph provides information about how many percentages of three groups (women, men, and children) have five portions or more of vegetables and fish in a day. From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the number of females and males consuming five portions or more of fish and vegies per day experienced an upward trend. Meanwhile, the figure for children showed a slight change.
Regarding the female group, approximately 20% of women had consumed five portions or more of fish and vegetables in a day between 2011 and 2013, increasing by 15% in the next two years and picking up at around 32% in 2016. Although the figure then decreased by approximately 7% in the final year, the female group still accounted as the highest figure among its counterparts. In the initial year, the number of children who followed this diet was half that of the women group, and it did not change much throughout the years and reached just about 15% in the final year.
Moving to the male group, the figure showed a considerable change. It commenced at around 17% in 2011, slightly moving to about 19% in the next two years. Then, In 2015, as many as 22% of males ate 5 portions or more of vegetables and fish daily and increasing to about 14% in 2015 and moving down to an almost similar figure of 2014 in 2016. In the final year, more than 25% of men followed this eating habit.
