Overall, it is clear that a percentage of British people gave money to charity in 1990 than they did in 2010. In addition, elder people doneted more for charity than younger counterparts.

About over 15 percent of people aged from 18 to 25 years old in 1990 devoted to charity and about 17 percent in 2010. The percentage of people between 51 and 65 years old spent more money for donation in 1990 whereas the proportion of people from 36 to 50 years of age devoted more money for charity in 2010, which accounted for over 40 percent. In contrast, for the youngest people was the lowest in 2010, at above 5 percent.

The percentage of British people advent of the age of 65 years old dropped dramatically their donation to charity between 1990 and 2010. The percentage of people who was 51 and above in 1990 declined by under 5 percent. The figur for people in the 51-65 age group was exactly 35percent in 1990, compared to over 30 percent of the 65 puls age group. The proportion for people between 51 years old and above in 1990 was lower than the figur for those in 2010.
