Among the areas given, Toronto witnessed the most enormous gap on comparing landfill to other ways. Over 70% of wastes are delivered to their landfills while each of the remaining ways picks up less than 10%. Likewise, second in terms of utilization of landfill is Amman, with less than 50% of their rubbishes consumed by this method, compared with less than 40% incinerated.
By contrast, the pivotal way Madrid and Kuala Lumpur use is the incineration, with 40% and more than 50% of their garbages are burnt.
