Essay topics:

The bar chart shows the percentage of young people in higher education in 2000, 2005, and 2010.

The given bar chart details the proportional change in the number of aspirants who pursued higher education over three different years 2000, 2005, and 2010.

Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the majority of young students who opted for higher education rose significantly in countries A and D. Although country C also recorded an uptick during the earlier year, the percentage leveled off thereafter. Also, followed by a few fluctuations, country B remained at the lowest position in this context.

According to the given illustration, country D led the whole distribution, where almost 60% of youngsters went for higher studies in 2000, the proportion jumped by nearly 4% in the next 5 years and thereafter it witnessed a dramatic surge of nearly 16% by the end of the period. Followed next by country A, who observed a significant increasing pattern starting from 35% in 2000, 45% in 2005, and finally 58% in 2010.

On the contrary, although country C was ahead of country A by almost 15% in 2000, the proportion got stagnant at approximately 52% during the last decade. On the other hand, with a 3% drop down in country B nearly 37% of students pursued further studies in 2005. Despite a few ups and downs, country B maintained 40% of students in 2010, but still, country B ranked the lowest with regard to higher educated students.
