The two bar graphs illustrates the statistics of both Marriage and Divorce in eight different countries in the years 1981 and 1984.
Overall, it is evident that, there is a constant downward trend in marriages of all the countries excluding Denmark. However, there are some fluctuations in the statistics of Divorce in both the years.
Initially, in the case of marriages, USA stands top in the position with 10 per thousand people, and experienced a slight dip in the year 1994 with 9 per thousand people. Despite of the decreasing trend in the year 1994, it still stands top comparatively with other seven nations. Similarly, all other countries experienced a downward trend in the year 1994 with the average of 6 to 4 per thousand people. However, in contrast with it, Denmark stood over 7 per thousand people in 1994.
As we can see from the divorce statistics, it was again America which surpassed all other nations. The countries USA and Denmark had a sharp dip of 0.5 and 0.7 respectively. Moreover, there is slight increased trend in the remaining countries. Interestingly, Germany plateaued at 2 per thousand people in the year 1981 and 1994.
