The bar graph below shows the number of tourists visiting two different cities by season.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The shown bar graph depicts the quantities of travelers who spent time in each of two cities, Dover and Troy over four specific seasons of the year 2014. Overall, Dover attracted visitors better throughout the year, while Troy was busier with tourists in summer and fall, and quite quiet in other ones.
In Dover, the number of visitors had a significant increase in each of all seasons. At the beginning of the year 2014, in spring, only 5000 tourists traveled to the city which was the lowest number. However, the number of visitors abruptly surged which rocketed doubly and triply at 10,000 and 15,000 people respectively in summer and fall, in comparison with the number in spring. Thereafter, the growth still continued that the winter was the busiest tourist season for Dover, welcoming 25,000 travelers.
In marked contrast, Troy did not have the steady climb throughout the year as Dover. Troy was busiest in welcoming the visitors in summer which dominated first place with over 21,000 visitors. After that, the number in fall came in turn with 20,000 tourists. Spring and winter were two unfavorable seasons for Troy that the number in those drop to the lowest number at around 5,000 visitors.
