The bar graph compares the numbers of different types of books sold for a period of 10 years.
It is clear that the history books were by far the most popular type between 2002 and 2012. By contrast, the least popular books sold over the same period were hobbies books.
In 2002, around 4,400 history books were sold and this figure was almost three times as high as any other type of book. People purchased just under 2,000 copies of each art books and entertainment books. Around 500 copies of hobbies books were purchased.
Between 2002 and 2012, there was a fluctuation in the sales of history books between 4,400 copies and 10,000 copies, and its sales were still dominant over the others.
The sales of entertainment and art books saw a gradual rise to a peak of around 3,000 copies and 4,000 copies, over the 10-year period, respectively. Books related to hobbies were the only one that saw a declining in sales by half in 2012.
