The given vertical bar graph compares the number of individuals employed in sales, computing, accounting, nursing, and farming in one region of Australia in 2001 and 2008.
Overall, it can be seen that the sales sector had the maximum workforce, while the minimum amount of employed was noticed in the farming sector in both years. Moreover, employment figures did not significantly change any other sector in between the two years.
In 2001, approximately 180,000 workers were employed in the sales sector. After that in the next seven years, a slight rose was noticed 10,000 more people employed in sales. The computing and nursing sector employees experienced minimal growth from 100,000 to 120,000 in the computing sector and from 40,000 to 50,000 in the nursing sector.
A glance at the remaining information, the workforce in the accounting and farming sectors declined with time. In 2001, the workforce in the accounting sector just less than one lakh were employed, and only 30,000 people worked in farming fields. In the accounting sector, the figure stood at just over three quarters, and a negligible amount of employment was noticed in the farming sector in 2008.
