The bar chart provide insights about total population of Japan starting from year 1950 to 2055 while the tabular data gives same information for above 65 years of age and their contribution in overall citizens. Units of population are measured in Millions.
Overall, the graph is on increasing trend except for last four decades where it shows small dip. Also the more number of humans survived in between 1985 and 2015. In the initial years citizens are very few and that count is never obtained back again. In future it is predicted the number of older people will be higher as compared to other humans generation.
Firstly with regards to the population it started at 84.1 millions in 1950 while the over 65 age population reaches 4.1 millions which accounted 4.9% of total living humans and it was constantly went up and reaches the high hit of 127.8 millions in 2010 before falling dramatically to about 110 and 89.9 million in 2035 and 2055 respectively. In the meanwhile the senior citizenship count is climbed up at steady rate and reaches 37.2 millions and accounted for 34% of total population.
Likewise, approximately 5% is getting went up consecutively from 1950 to 1965. In 1975 it suddenly jumped to about 111.9 millions in 1975 after which the figure follows 6% rise till 1995. In 2035 it much slumped to 110 millions and reaches second significant least value of 89.9millions. In the same time the elderly people rate decrease to 36.5 from 37.2 in the span of 20 years ranging between 1935 and 1955, which stands for 41% of total population.
