The line chart gives information about the number of students pursued degrees in Canada over 15 years period starting from 1992.

Overall, it is observed the most number number of women graduated as compared to men during the entire course of time. Even-though there is a slight fluctuation in numbers between years the numbers are increased rapidly for both men and women. During first four years the increasing trend is similar for both except there is some differences in numbers between them.

Firstly, with regards to the female graduates it began at around 99,000 and then it started falling from 1995 reaches exactly 100,000 in 1997 before increasing dramatically to 128,000 in 2004, from then on it is steadily increasing and it reaches the most significant value of 148,000 in 2006 and its expected to reach 150,000 in coming years. Overall there is an 50% increase in graduates in 2006 compared to the starting year.

Likewise approximately 71,00 male degree holders in Canadian universities in 1992 climbed up-to 76,000 in 1995 and then it slumped down to its initial value of 71,00 in 1998. Between 1998 and 2002 there is a slight fluctuation in numbers (between 71,000 and 73,000). During the year 2002 it started to went up and hits a high of nearly 93,000 in around 2006.
