The japans trends of population for present, past and future is shown by table and graph. The graph depicts the number of population in milllion from 1950 to 2055 with five year interval from 19050 to 2015 then 20 years interval for the remainning two and table provides the figure of 19950, 2005, 2035 and 2055 in terms of population aged 65 years or above and percentage of total population aged 65 years or above. The number of population increases from past to present and decreases in future, while the number of population aged 65 or above and their percentage increase for past, present and future.
In is clearly seen in the information provided that the highest number of population in millions is 125.4 in 2015 and the highest number of population aged 65 year or above is 36.5 millions in 2055 i.e, 41%. In contrast, the lowest number of population is 84.1, lowest population aged 65 years or above is 4.1 and lowest percentage is 4.9% is in 1950.
The total population graph is continously increasing from 1950 to 2015 and in fulture it will decrease. but the population aged 65 or above and their percentage is increased for all the three trends.
In conclusion, the population of japan is increased from past but it decreased in future, as the number of population aged 65 or above is increased .
