Generally speaking, girls had a tendency of participating in team sports rather than their counterparts did, with the exception of soccer.
A closer look at the diagram shows that the number of girls chosing to take part in netball was far more than that of the opposite gender. The number of males, however, having an inclanation towards soccer with roughly 25% which was five times greater than females did. The same situation happened to cricket which only a few girls enjpyed, while more than 10% of their counterparts took up this sport. A further point to note is, tennis and basketball, were enjoyed by both genders with around 12% to 13% of each. Swimming witnessed a high tendency of girls and boys taking part in with approximately 13% and 22% respectively.
