The given diagram details information about the types of media that people in different age groups used to update daily news in a specific country in 2011.

Overall, radio was used by most people in different age groups, except people aged 10-17 who had tendency to use social platforms to get daily news. It is also noticeable that micro-blogging was less chosen by almost all people in different age groups.

Regarding the percentage of people using radio to update news everyday, people aged 30-49 and 50-64 shared the same figure, at 95%, followed by people in the 18-29 age bracket with the figure being recorded at 94, ahead of people who were over 65 at 88% and lastly 10-17 year-old people (40%).

Turning to the remaining platforms, 80% of people who were 10-17 year-olds and 18-29 year-olds utilized social networking to catch up with the daily information. When people got older, they lost their interest in using social networking to get daily news with 45% for people aged 30-49 year-olds, 33% for people in the 50-64 age bracket and 10% for over 65 year-old people. In terms of micro-blogging ,20% and 25% of people in 10-17 and 18-19 year-old bracket used micro-blogging to update daily news and the total percentage of people using micro-blogging to get news every day from 30-39 to over 65 year-olds was recorded at 31% with the respective figure being 13%, 8% and 2%
