The charts illustrated the number of sale of hybrid vehicles from 2006 to 2009. During three years, the sale of hybird vehicles were between 360000 and 740000. Although Japan's and the United States' sale are different from each other.
According to the chart, in 2006, the United States' sale was the highest among Japan and other countries, at 250000. This kept rose in 2007, about 350000. However, Japan was still stayed over 50000, and nearly had no change. In the year of 2008, the United States' sale was still high. It was not until 2009 that there was a significant rise in the amount of sale of hybird vehicles in Japan, about 330000. Neverthless, in the United States, it was only above 280000.
Overall, the United States' sale of hybird vehicles were being the highest to Japan and other countries. But in 2009, Japan overtook the United States and became a country that the most hybird vehicles were sold.
