The bar graph indicates the ratio of British citizens' donations to charity based on their age in two separate years - 1990 and 2010.
In general, British donated money to charity in 1990 is more than they did in 2010. Elderly people who are over 50 years old donated fewer than younger British in 1990. However, they did the opposite in 2010.
In 1990, the number of British in range of the age 36 and 50 donated to charity is the highest ratio, 42%. On the other hand, the ratio of young people from the 18-25 age group contributed only around 17% which is lowest. In 2010, both this percentages dropped considerably, corresponding 35% and 7%.
Although the donation participation by people between the age of 36 and 50 decreased in 2010, it was still in the top 3 highest donations.The donation by 51-56 age-group in 2010 increased from 35% to 38%, and an increase to 35% by the 65+ age group.
