The graph compares the number of men and women’s spare time based on their employment levels in a typical of the week in hour in 1998-99. Overall, unemployed and retired people have more free time than other groups.
To begin with, the highest amount of free time was enjoyed by out of work men which peak almost at 85 hours over the period of 1998 to 1999, while female had significantly less than 80. Also, retired men spent leisure time more than 80 hours which is higher by around 3 than women.
Furthermore, men in working took delight about 45 hours of time off, whereas the woman of this category had less 40 hours. No data are given for male in part-time staff and housewives. Additionally, Female who had a side job and got married gave 40 and 50 hours to relaxing. To sum up, people who are out of the work have more spare time that enjoyable
