The chart below shows the amount of money per week spent on fast food in Britain. The graph shows the trends in the consumption of fast foods. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The bar graph compares how much money Britishers from three income groups (high, average, and low) spent per person per week on hamburgers, pizza, and fish and chips in 1990. The line graph plots how much of each food they ate per week, on average, between 1970 and 1990.
Overall, the high income group spent more on fast food than the other two groups. Britishers ate much more junk food in 1990 than in 1970, especially fish and chips.
In detail, in 1990, weekly spending amounted to 77, 69 and 38 pence/person for the high, average and low income groups, respectively. Hamburgers were the most popular junk food in the high and average groups, compared to Fish&Chips for the low income group. In 1970, people ate 400 grams per person of junk food compared to 1000 in 1990. Most of the rise was due to fish & chips, which went up more than fivefold, 90 to 500 grams per person. The amount of hamburgers also increased from 200 grams per person to 290. In contrast, pizza declined from 300 to 200 grams per person
