Provided is the bar chart comparing the annual figure of rentals and sales (In a variety of formats) of films from a specific store during the 9-year period from 2002. Overall, The data clearly communicate that an ascending train was recorded in the number of Blu-ray sales why that of rentals and VHS sales witnessed A reverse. Additionally, the figure of DVD sales experienced a period of volatility.

As can be seen from the graph it was not until 2007 that Blu-ray appeared in market sales. The number of Blue Ray sales Increased by 10,000 to 13,000 during the Course of 4 years from 2007. Despite having a moderate growth the quantity of Blu-ray sold was the fewest compared to other formats.

In contrast, there was a drop in the number of rentals and VHS sales. To be specific, a significant decrease of 135,000 from 185,000 was recorded in the figure of rentals in the meantime. Although rentals experienced a considerable fall, it still remained its lead as one of the two most favourite forms. Similarly, The quality of VHS sales Declined sharply by 75,000 from 85,000 between 2002 and 2005. It is notable that it completely disappeared after 2005.

From 2002 to 2007 DVD was more and more liked as the number of DVD sales had a dramatic rise from 48,000 and reached its peak at over 210,000 in 2007. Subsequently, The figure of DVD sales decreased slightly to 180,000 in the course of five years later but it still continued to be the most popular film format in 2011.
