To begin with, it can be clearly seen that at the lowest and highest level of education, which are skilled vocational diploma, post-graduate diploma, and master’s degree, men outweigh their female counterparts at the skilled vocational level, there is a sharp difference by 90% and at postgraduate males almost doubled females and at master’s degree, two third of students were males.
To continue with, when it comes to the medium level of education, which are undergraduate diploma and Bachelor’s degree, women outnumber men by nearly 70% and slightly 55%, respectively.
In conclusion, in Australia in 1999, it is understood from the graph that males dominated the lowest and highest levels of post-graduate studies, while there were more women for the other two levels in the given period.
