The chart gives information about wind energy generation in four different countries between 1985 and 2000.
It is clear that all countries increased in energy production except Germany in the last given year. The US was by far the most produced wind energy in both years.
In 1985, the US produced around 120 million units with a twofold increase from Germany, and then the figure rose to approximately 140 million units in the year 2000. By contrast, Germany’s trend was opposite to the US. Germany produced under 60 million units in 1985, and dropped away around 50 million units in 2000.
India and Denmark produced less wind energy than the other two countries. In 1985, the wind energy production in India increased significantly 30 million units, and nearly equaled Germany in 2000 with around 40 million units. Denmark had the same upward trend, rising to 20 million units in 2000, half that of Germany. Despite the increase in wind energy production in Denmark, this country was still the least productive.
