The bar chart compares the cost of consumer goods in two countries: France and the United Kingdom in the year 2010. Units are measured in pounds sterling.
In general, cars spent the biggest expenses in both two countries. In contrast, perfume had the lowest cost. Another visible trend is that, more people in the UK bought cars, books and camera than people in France. While, the amount of perfume and computers were consumed in greater quantities in France than the UK.
In terms of cars, people in the UK spent £450,000 whereas the French spent £400,000. Similarly, the British paid cost of books more than people in France with £400,000 and £300,000 in turns. The expenditure on camera in the UK was twice as much as that of France, with £400,000 and £200,000 respectively.
The amount of money spent on perfume and computer was higher in France. The expenses paid for computers were approximately £370,000 in France and exactly £350,000 in the UK. Perfume accounted for £200,000 of expenditure in France but under £150,000 in the UK.
