The bar chart illustrates how often Americans had fast food in restaurants from 2003 to 2013. It is clear that the majority of people ate fast food once a week or once or twice a month.
Starting with America people who had fast food everyday, several times a week, once a week and never, the number showed a downward trend. Though the percentage of fast food lovers who ate them several times a week rose from 31% to 33% in 2006, it fell down to 28% in 2013. The same trend can be seen in that of people who did it several times a week but it changed more slighlty.Unlikely, the number of people who never had fastfood or had it on a daily basis first decreased slighlt in 2006 and then remained stable in 2013 (less than 5%).
Turning now to the frequency of eating fast food once or twice a month and a few times a year, the decade witnessed a rise of the proportion of it. The number of who bought fast food in restaurant once or twice a month fluctuated, falling to the bottom out at 25% in 2006, surpassing that of other frequency and rising to biggest percentage of 33% in 2013. However, the percentage of Americans seldom ate fastfood rose from 13%to 15% in 2006 and kept unchanged in 2013.
