Looking from an overall perspective, it can be noted that the total amount of money spent was around 313 billion AED, hence the majority spent was on Social Security and Health and Personal Social Services.
Breaking the chart into details, the highest budget went to Social Security, followed by Health and Personal Social Services, with 100 billion and 53 billion AED respectively, forming about half of the total budgeted expenditure. It can also be noted that 38 billion AED was put on the Education sector, in addition to 23 billion AED on both debt interest and other expenditure.
Also, the Defense sector came after with 22 billion spent on it. Law and Order and Housing Heritage and Environment subsequently came after with 17 and 15 billion AED of provision for them.
However, Industry, Agriculture and Employment and Transport sectors had the least share of expenditures with 22 billion AED spent on them in the aggregate.
