The diagram depicts the changes in average house prices in various cities from 1990 to 2002 in compering with the figure in 1989. In general, spending for housing varied significantly.
As can be seen from the bar chart, there were two cities that have increasing in house prices, that were Madrid (Spain) and Frankfurt (Germany). In comparing with the average of period 1990-1995, while the figure of Madrid continued to grow in the period 1996-2002, Frankfurt experimented a slight drop. Furthermore, Tokyo's residents spent less for housing fee than in 1989, for example for the period from 1990 to 1995, the consumption fell by 7% and for the period 1996-2002 there was a decreasing of 5%.
On the other hand, New York (USA) and London (UK) fluctuated between these time. An instance illustrated the fact was that the number of New York, after decreased significantly by 5% from 1990 to 1995, it grew sharply from 1996 to 2002 by 5%. It mean the gap between the two periods was 10%. However, the most considerable number was belong to London by -7% for 1990-1995 and +13% for 1996-2002.
