A glance at the bar chart provided illustrates the figures of students who learn six different subjects at the US university in 2010 by gender. It is clearly apparent that the most popular subject among female and male students was finance while engineering ranked the least among other subjects.

Looking in more detail, female students were more likely to choose marketing and accounting than male. It can be seen that the number of female students was around 25 to 40 higher than male in that classes. On the other hand, economics class and mathematics class were reported to have more male students than female. In economic class the amount of male students was two folds (150 male compared to 75 female) while in matematics the number of male was extremely higher than female (200 versus above 50 people).

Finally, the finance class which showed to be the most taken subjects showed the same number in female and male students (approximately 225 people of each). The similar proportion in students' gender was also reported in engineer class (near 50 of each) although it ranked the least popular subject in that year.
