The chart below shows information about students studying in six major subjects at the US university in 2010

The line graph compares the number of pupils was studying six distinct subjects in a university of the US in 2010.

Overall, the number of male students were higher than females in three out of five given courses over the period shown , whereas the majority of students of both sexes were interested in finance category with uniform number.

In 2010, around 200 of the male students studied mathematics, which was almost three times more than that of females mathematics students (roughly 60). Further, the number female students who studied engineering was only 52, which was also the least figure of the given chart. Surprisingly, the figures of both males and females undergraduate in finance subject were uniform (almost 225 each).

However, exactly 200 undergraduates were studying accountancy, and this figure was almost 30 more compared to boys with 170. While the number of undergraduate girls in marketing category was 120, the data of boys in same course was almost half than girls (65).
