The bar chart describes the number of girls per 100 boys who took admission into various levels of education such as primary, secondary and tertiary education in developing and developed counties. The bar graph data was from the year 1990 and 1998.
In the developing countries, the enrollment for the girls per 100 boys was less than the developed counties for all the levels of school education. But the numbers of girls had been increased in 1998 as compared to 1990 despite hadn’t reached the target of 100. In primary education, the numbers are high as compared to other levels of education such as in 1990 it was 83 and 1998 had increased to 87. Whereas the secondary education had 72 and 82 numbers of girls enrolled in 1990 and 1998 respectively. For tertiary education, the numbers were the lowest such as 66 in 1990 and 75 in 1998.
On contrary, in the developed nations, the numbers had exceeded the target of 100 in tertiary education with numbers of enrolled girls was 105 and 112 in 1990 and 1998 respectively. Whereas, the fewer numbers of girls were involved in primary education with 95 for 1990 and 96 for 1998. Moreover, In secondary education, the number of girls who took admission was 98 for the year 1990 and 99 for the year 1998.
In conclusion, it could be seen clearly that the numbers of girls per 100 boys enrolled at different levels had continuously increased in both the years 1990 and 1998 for developing and developed nations.
