Overall, upon analyzing the data, it is evident that there is no clear trend in the number of households across various income groups. It is noticeable that the lowest number of households consistently fall in the range $75,000 - $99,999 annual income.

Approximately 25 millions of households earned less then $25,000 in 2007. Five years later, the figure witnessed a moderate increase where it gone up to nearly 30 millions of households and finally slightly went down to roughly 28 millions in 2015. Another similar trend occured in the range between $25,000 - $49,999 annual income. In the first year, more than 25 millions of households were in this group of income, the figure increased to nearly 30 millions in the next five years and then slightly dropped to about 28 millions of households.

The number of households in the range $50,000 - $74,999 annual income remained steady over the years with more than 20 millions. The group between $75,000 - $99,999 annual income steadily hovering about 15 millions of households. Lastly, the number of households with an annual income exceeding $100,000 went from nearly 30 millions to roughly 27 millions, and finally experienced a significant increase to approximately 33 millions in 2015.
