This chart gives information about the difference between the number of further educated male and female in three periods of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s in both types of study included part-time and full-time. Overall, majority of British (both men and women) decided to learn part-time in any period. The number of female in futher education increased from 1970-1971 period to 1990-1991 one while there was a fluctuation in total further educated male.
Looking the chart more detailed, It is clear that the number of men studying part-time in futher education dropped by approximately 150 thousand to bottomed out of 850 thousand in the period from 1990 to 1991 before rising slightly to about 950 thousand. There was a steady growth from 150 thousand to over 200 thousand in the total male learning full-time in further education. Unlike the trend of futher educated male, the number of female taking part in further education rose through dissimilar periods in both part-time and full-time courses, with the difference was over 300 thousand and 150 thousand respectively.
