The chart below shows the number of men and women in further education in
Britain in three periods and whether they were studying full-time or part-time.

The graph delineates the number of the British people pursuing full-time and part-time education, mainly in three periods.
Overall, the bar graph clearly depicts that the significant drop was experienced in the level of men aspirants in the mid-period for part-time education. However, for the women opting for part-time study, the level significantly soared over the period of time. Moreover, for the people studying full-time, the number escalated.
The number of women learning in part-time reported growth from about 100, 000 to over 300, 000 from the period 1970 to 1991, respectively. Despite the fact that the level soared in the case of women, the trend recorded difference in the case of men. Over the second and third period, the amount doubled and tripled the rate that was observed in the first decade.
However, the level gradually rose from 700, 000 to 1100, 000 for the women interested in studying for part-time. Although, the number was high initially for the men educating for the part-time as compared to women, the amount dropped in the following years.
