The chart below shows the percentage of male and female teachers in six different types of educational setting in the UK in 2010.
The vertical graph depicts the volume of men and women educator's in distinct kind of educational institutions in UK over the given period.
The most striking feature to be observed is that enormous proportion of females could be seen at school level where as more male tutors were engaged in higher educational institutions.
It can be vividly seen that for male teachers , University led with approximately 95% whereas private training institute, college and secondary school occupied second, third and fourth position with 55, 50 and 45% respectively. Moreover, primary, nursery/ preschool were accounted for 5 and 10% respectively. For women educators, Nursery/ preschool has highest around 95% followed by primary school,secondary school college and private institution with 80, 55, 50 and 45% respectively.
Turning to rest of description, universities stood at lowest position with nearly 25%. As far as comparisons are concerned, the proportion of female tutors was 17 times more as compared to men in Nursery/ pre school. Furthermore, in university,the volume of men teaches put the women educators at the back seat.
