The chart below shows the percentages of industry sector's contribution in the economy of Turkey in 2000 and 2016

The pie charts delineate how eight difference industrial sector contributed to the Turkish economy percentage-wise for the year 2000 and 2016

Overall, at the beginning of the second millennium, constructed contributed the least to the economy and agriculture was the most significant economic sector. In comparison, at the end of the period, healthcare and education become the largest contributors while the lowest was made by finance business and other services.
Firstly, construction had the least share of Turkey's economy and it accounted for a mere 3% in 2000. It experienced a more than threefold increase to one-tenth in 2016. Income from trade, utilities and transportation was 14%and experienced a slight growth of 2% by 2016. At the beginning of the period manufacturing and finance business and other business made up 8% and 5% of the Turkish economy respectively, and these figures rose to 12% and 8%in 2016.
In contrast, an opposing trend can be observed for the remaining sectors, where agriculture comprised almost a quarter which was the highest of the country's economy in 2000 and it fell by 10% sixteen years later. Government and leisure and hospitality sector both alleviate by 3% in 2016 with the figures of 9% for later one. Notably, the contribution from healthcare and education did not change at all and remained constant in both the years.
