The chart illutrates the proportion of both male and female students studying six art-based subjects at a Uk educational institution in 2011.
Overall, almost students tended to follow English language and literature subjects. Besides, there was a much larger percentage of female partook at the same subjects, exceptionally in art and design, the amount of male was more than female over the period shown.
Firstly, for male, the ratio of male who took part in philosophy was the smallest percentage, at about 50. Next, the figure for history and archeology was more than philosogy nearly 50. Besides, the distance of linguistics, art and design, communication and media stud was not a huge alternative, the rate was around 200. In this period, the ratio of some male students peak nearly 230.
On the other hand, for female, the rate of history and archeology was under 100 as a smallest amount in comparison with other subjects. The figure for philosogy and art and design were approximately 150 but art and design was a little higher. The three other subjects including linguistics, English language and literature, communication was attractive plenty of female students, the rate was more than 200 even peaked 250 for English subjects
