The chart below illustrates the difference between students studying six subjects at the university of UK in 2011.
Overall, students are divided into two groups male and female and all subjects are related to art.
It is clear the almost the same number of male students (230000 ) and female students (240000) studied English language and literature. In addition the number of male and female students in Communication and Madia Stud was almost the same. ( male students -205000; female students- 215000). Linguistics was a popular subject among students, with 240000 female students and 180000 male students studied. The difference between femae students and male students in History, Archeology and Art, Design was a bit noticeable. For example: in Art and Design, 165000 female students and 155000male students studied.
However,the number of female students in Philosophy was that triple of male students. ( female students -150000; male students -50000).
