The given graph compares the percentage of different drinking and buying coffee and tea habits consumed by city residents in Australia in the last 4 weeks.
It is clear that the most popular way of enjoying coffee and tea for Australians was going to a cafe, except for Adelaide. Also, city inhabitants were more likely to buy instant coffee than fresh one in all regions.
Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney witnessed a noticeably high percentage of people going to cafes, at 64%, 63% and 61% respectively. Despite not being the most preferred in Adelaide, the proportion of going to cafe habits is also remarkable, at about 50%.
Regarding buying habits, starting at a half of instant coffee, the proportion of using fresh coffee hovered around 35% in Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart, marking the biggest difference gap in all of five cities. By contrast, the difference between instant and fresh coffee in Sydney and Melbourne were smaller, at about 3% and 5% respectively.
