Overall, going to a café for tea or coffee was the most popular habit in all cities except Adelaide. When buying coffee, all residents preferred instant coffee to fresh coffee.
Noticeably, people in all cities liked to go out to have a cup of tea or coffee except residents of Adelaide, where half of the population liked to buy instant coffee, while only just below 40% preferred to have coffee at a café. In Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart, just over three-fifths of residents went to a cafeteria during the last month, while approximately 55% of Brisbane residents went to a cafeteria.
In terms of buying coffee, All Australians were interested in the instant version with just above half in Brisbane and Hobart, while with just below half in Sydney and Melbourne. Just above 40% of People in the later 2 cities purchased fresh coffee, the highest in all 5 cities.
