The chart below shows the results of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities
The column chart illustrates the differences and changes in the proportion of city citizens buying coffee and tea and drinking habits provided by three aspects in five different areas of Australia in last 4 weeks. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the number of people who bought fresh coffee ranked the top in most categories, except for Adelaide that was the second largest.
In particular, when it comes to fresh coffee buying, the top three positions were Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney at approximately 62%, followed by over 55% in Brisbane, which constantly accounted for the highest percentages in comparison with other aspects. Besides, it was accompanied by Adelaide at below 50%, which constituted the lowest score.
Meanwhile, in terms of instant coffee buying, the percentage of Hobart and Brisbane were at about 53%, which were the highest numbers, followed by Adelaide with 50%. It was accompanied by Melbourne and Sydney at around 48% and 46% respectively, which was the smallest percentages.
Regarding drinking habits, the top three proportions were roughly 43%, 42% and 38%, which was represented by Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart accordingly. Brisbane and Adelaide shared the equal percentage of around 34%, which were the lowest.
