The chart below shows the results of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

The bar chart gives us information about the proportion of coffee and tea purchasing and residents’ drinking habits in five different cities in Australia
As is observed, the figure for people going to a cafe for tea or coffee in the last 4 weeks accounted for the highest percentage among 4 cities, except Adelaide, while the percentage of people buying fresh coffee made up the lowest proportion of the chart.
Regarding the first three cities, the proportion of people who went to a cafe remained the highest, at about 63% in Melbourne, followed by 62% and around 55% in Sydney and Brisbane, respectively. While the figure for residents buying instant coffee witnessed a slight increase, from about 45% in Sydney to 53% in Brisbane, the percentage of people drinking fresh coffee was relatively low, which was at about 43% in Sydney and decreased to approximately 35% in Brisbane.
In Hobart and Adelaide, the ratio of residents who bought fresh coffee continued to be the lowest figure, at about 35% in both cities. In Adelaide, residents had a tendency to either buy fresh coffee or go to a cafe as both figures showed the same proportion, at about 50%. On the other hand,in Hobart, the figure for those who went to a cafe was relatively higher than that of Adelaide, at about 63%.
