The bar chart provides information regarding the proportions of coffee and tea purchasing and drinking habits based on a survey that has been done in Australian cities in a period of 28 days.
First of all, it is obvious that the most popular activity among people is going to a café for drinking their coffee and tea, starting from near 50% for Adelaide’s people and ending at figure of about 63% for Melbourne’s residents. It is worth noting that the popularity of buying instant coffee is more than fresh coffee among citizens in different countries. It means that the highest mark is for Hobart’s citizen in 54% and the lowest percentage is for Sydney’s people in just over 45%, but it fluctuates between 34% and 43% for fresh coffee. Finally, except for Adelaide pattern in providing coffee and tea, all countries’ pattern are similar, meaning the most popular activity is spending time in café, then buying instant coffee, followed by purchasing fresh coffee. However, the pattern for Adelaide is the reverse in the case of choosing a café and purchasing instant coffee.
To sum up, all countries have approximately the same pattern in people’s drinking and buying habits except Adelaide’s people who buy more instant coffee than going to the café.
