The line graphs show the number of the time spent by the United Kingdom residents in three different groups from 1995 to 2002.
It is obvious that there was an increase slightly in mobiles and local-fixed line between 1995 and 2002, while the local-fixed line dipped at the same time in the United Kingdom.
As can be seen, the people who used mobiles for their calls had an upward trend from 1995 to 2002 and in the last three years grew more than 20 billion. The national and international – fixed line is more common than mobiles in the United Kingdom and increased slightly by about 15 billion. It seems that the United Kingdom’s people like to use local - fixed line and it is very popular among these people it hit a peak in 1995 of 90 billion and troughs approximately 20 billion after that until 2002.
As a result, the local – fixed line is more common in the United Kingdom among the other two groups, while the trends show people have more tend to use mobiles for their calls. It is obviously that the gap between three categories reduce considerably in 2002 and this trend evident quality in the second half of period.
