The chart below shows waste collection by a recycling centre from 2011 to 2015

The bar graph illustrates the amount of waste, classified as four types, collected by a recycling centre during the period between 2011 and 2015.

Overall, the most noticeable feature is that the figure for recyclable waste fluctuated over the five-year period, with every hitting a low at 2012 and reaching a peak at 2015. Also, it is apparent that the weights of paper and glass waste gathered were significantly higher than the other two.
Looking at the graphs more closely, one can see that the waste that accounted for the highest proportion was paper of approximately 60 tons. Also, it is interesting that the weight of paper waste remained the greatest except in 2013, when glass, the second-most collected waste at 2011, surpassed paper’s figure. The gap between two was less than 10 tons from 2011 to 2014, but it widened notably at 2015. While the other parts varied continuously, the figure for tins remained relatively stable around 35. The amount of garden waste was close behind at 32 tons in 2011. However, it dropped considerably to 15 tons in 2012, before doubling in the next year. In 2015, the amount of garden waste collected was half the paper’s.
