The chart show the different how three countries learn English in 2010 and 2015
The pie charts delineate the approaches to studying English in three countries between 2010 and 2015.
As is shown in the pie charts, most English learners opted for evening classes to improve their language skills in three surveyed countries. Meanwhile, travelling to another country was quite popular in country A and B, and the reverse trend was true for country C in two surveyed years.
In 2010, evening classes were the number-one choice among English learners as 94% of them favoured this method in country C, far exceeding the figures for country A and B, at 70% and 72% respectively. Meanwhile, one-fourth of the surveyed people in country A learnt English when they travelled abroad, as opposed to one-fifth in country B. Online learning seemed to be the least popular way of learning as it only accounted for 5%, 8% and 6% in the proportions of English learners in country A, B and C in turn.
5 years later, fewer people enjoyed studying in evening classes in three countries as the figures declined by 3% in country A, 12% in country C and a dramatic 24% in country B. Online learning, on the other hand, was on the corresponding rise, representing 10% in country A, 15% in country C and a respectable 32% in country B. The figures for going abroad remained quite stable at 23% in country A and 20% in country B. This learning method started to take off in country C with an increase of 3% in 2015.
