The chart shows the amount and quality of water supplied in two regions of the world
The chart illustrates the amount of water supplied for people and the level of water cleanliness in Australia and South East Asia between 1990 and 2010.
As can be seen from the chart, all the figures witnessed an upward trend except for the percentage of water clean in South East Asia recorded a downward pattern. Overall, the data for water users and the quality of water in Australia were highest, while that of South East Asia always have the lower number at the end of survey.
In particular, the statistic of Australian who used water in 1990 stood at 80%, then increased sharply to nearly 100% over 20 years of the period. Moreover, the total amount of Australia's clean water saw a similar trend but with a different pace. In 1990, the figure for water quality was about 70%, before going up of 15% in 2010.
Turning to the data for the water users in South East Asia was the lowest number, just about 35% in the first years, then rose double to 75% at the end of survey. After standing up at 40%, the figure for South East Asia's clean water ended up with 35%, which is the smallest number in all 20 years of period.
