The bar charts illustrate the proportion of time that children from 0-9 spend with their mom and dad on weekdays and weekends.
Overall, children from the given ages spend most of the time with their mom, while the time both mom and dad staying with children is the lowest on weekdays. However, on weekends, the amount of time spent on both parents shows the highest of all, nevertheless, the hour dad and children stay with each other takes the least.
For the time children spending with dads on weekdays, the figure begins with 2 hours and gradually decreases to 1.5 hours at age 4-5, but then substantially rises up to 2 hours at the age of 8-9. Furthermore, less than 6 hours is the time children from 0-1 would spend with their moms on weekdays and this rate takes a steady fluctuation to the age of 8-9. And for both parents, the time also experienced the same as the hours children spending with their mom, osciliating slightly around less than 2 hours.
On weekends, there is a minimal change in the time children spending with their dads, from less than 0.1 hours levels up to the highest at 0.5 and then turns back to 0.1. With mom, the time also takes a period of votality around 4 hours, and the hours for both mom and dad fluctuated substantially surrounding 6 hours.
